iH to Supply Residential Land in Geomdan New Town AA17 and Geomam Station Area B-2B Blocks

Incheon Urban Corporation (iH) will supply residential land plots in Geomdan New Town AA17 Block and Geomam Station Area B-2 Block, respectively.


iH announced on the 26th that it will supply the Geomdan AA17 Block through a land sale-type special design competition and will accept applications until the 10th of next month. The AA17 Block has a site area of 90,892㎡, with a building coverage ratio of 50%, a floor area ratio of 195%, and a maximum height limit of 25 floors, planned for a total of 1,574 households.


Geomdan New Town, where the AA17 Block is located, is a major hub city in the northwest metropolitan area. It is a large-scale housing development district and a second-phase new town with a total area of 11,106,000㎡ and 75,848 households. Since the first move-in in June 2021, the resident population has been steadily increasing.

The AA17 Block, situated between the newly established stations 102 (planned Shingeomdan Central Station) and 103 (planned Geomdan Lake Park Station) on the extension line of Incheon Subway Line 1 scheduled to open in the first half of next year, offers convenient access to Gimpo and Incheon Airports and Seoul via the Airport Railroad transfer. Additionally, it is adjacent to planned elementary and middle school sites and commercial land, providing excellent educational and living conditions, according to iH.


Design submissions will be accepted on September 25, and the winning design will be selected, followed by signing the land sale contract in October.


On the 28th, iH will supply the Geomam Station Area B-2 Block through a lottery system. The Geomam B-2 Block has a site area of 34,992㎡, with a building coverage ratio of 50%, a floor area ratio of 190%, and a maximum height limit of 25 floors, planned for a total of 633 households.


The Geomam Station Area public housing district, promoted as part of the government's plan to supply 300,000 houses in the metropolitan area, covers a total area of 810,000㎡ and is expected to have about 6,600 households, including 3,953 public housing units, with the first move-in scheduled for 2027. iH expects that the Geomam B-2 Block, currently the only remaining private sale land within the district, will attract significant interest from many companies.


The Geomam B-2 Block will be announced and the lottery conducted through the Korea Asset Management Corporation's On-Bid system. Applications will be accepted by ranking from the 15th of next month, and the land sale contract will be signed on the 22nd following the lottery.
