On the 27th, Samsung Electronics announced that it will carry out the '2024 Paris Olympic Art Campaign' in collaboration with the City of Paris from today until early September.
The campaign introduces outdoor advertisements featuring black-and-white Olympic photos by French photographer Raymond Depardon and color photos taken with the Galaxy S24 Ultra by his son, Simon Depardon.
The campaign conveys a message connecting the past and present by combining color photos introducing new events and athletes of the 2024 Paris Olympics with black-and-white photos showcasing traditional events.
The photos will be exhibited throughout the city at major Paris landmarks such as the Concorde Bridge, Pyramid Street, Porte d'Orl?ans, and Saint-Germain Street.
New event photos feature Team Samsung Galaxy France athletes as models, including Sarah V from breaking, Aur?lien Girod from skateboarding, Mezdi Chalke from sport climbing, and Ivan Woanji from blind football.
Simon, the photographer, said, "Through the excellent camera of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, I aimed to capture the charm of each event along with the athletes' movements and also express the human side of each athlete."
Choi Seung-eun, Vice President and Head of Marketing Team at Samsung Electronics MX Division, said, "We are pleased to be able to record and share the 2024 Paris Olympics with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, just as the legendary French photographer Raymond Depardon captured historic moments of past Olympics."
