Latte Talk with Those Born in '82, Opening Ceremony of the Pet Dog Playground, and More
Eunpyeong-gu Innovation Direction: "First is the Field, Second is the Field"
Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that on the 28th, to mark the 2nd anniversary of the 8th term of the elected administration, it will hold a "communication forum with residents and staff" to share the achievements of the district government so far.
On the 28th, the following events will take place: ▲ Latte Talk with middle managers born in 1982 ▲ Opening ceremony of the pet dog playground ▲ Communication with residents using Baekse Call ▲ Photo exhibition titled "We are Eunpyeong".
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, will hold a "Latte Talk with middle managers born in 1982" to communicate with staff. This session will discuss how the generation caught between the 'latte' organizational culture and the changed organizational culture after the appointment of the MZ generation survives, sharing their difficulties and actively reflecting them in district policies.
On this day, the opening ceremony of the "pet dog playground," which has been prepared since the beginning of the 8th term, will be held. Eunpyeong-gu ranks 4th in the number of registered pet dogs among the 25 autonomous districts of Seoul, so residents' expectations are high, and various programs such as talk concerts will be conducted.
Additionally, there will be a communication session with Baekse Call users, business stakeholders, Hangang Call Taxi, Seoul Private Taxi Transport Business Association Eunpyeong Branch, and residents. They plan to listen to opinions on the operation status and possible improvements of the Baekse Call project, which started in October two years ago.
Especially, during the regular staff assembly, along with the 2nd anniversary commemorative speech, Professor Shin Young-chul from the Department of Psychiatry at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital will be invited to give a lecture titled "Managing Stress for Office Workers" for Eunpyeong-gu office staff.
The 2nd anniversary commemorative speech will convey the message "First is the field, second is the field." It will introduce projects reflecting voices from the field into policy, such as children's water playgrounds, independent youth housing, barrier-free forest trails, and additional usage tickets for iMom Taxi for health-vulnerable households, and also present the future vision that Eunpyeong-gu should pursue.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, "Listening to various voices of residents and newly setting the starting point and goals of administration is the biggest change in Eunpyeong-gu," adding, "I want to be a 'district mayor in daily life' so that there is no gap between administration and residents' lives."
