Guro-gu Holds 2024 Q2 Regular Staff Meeting to Share Municipal Operation Status and Achievements
Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) held the 2024 2nd quarter regular staff assembly on the 26th at the Guro-gu Community Center auditorium.
The regular staff assembly was conducted in the order of ▲ watching a video commemorating the 2nd anniversary of the 8th elected administration ▲ awarding exemplary public officials for the first half of the year ▲ presenting service plaques to retiring public officials ▲ the mayor’s address ▲ and staff training, aiming to share the status and achievements of district administration, recognize staff efforts, and foster an organizational atmosphere that encourages smooth communication among employees.
Guro-gu Mayor Moon Heon-il presented service plaques to 12 retiring employees, saying, “On behalf of all staff, I extend congratulations and gratitude for your dedicated service to our district,” and added, “I hope your new life is filled with happiness.”
He then shared the status and achievements of the six major pledge projects carried out over the past two years, referencing the proverb 'Gojangnanmyeong (孤掌難鳴)' meaning “one hand cannot clap alone,” stating, “These accomplishments could not have been achieved without the collective effort of each individual employee,” and expressed his gratitude to the staff who worked hard and sweated together.
The staff training was conducted by Choi Yu-mi, CEO of Shine & Company, on the topic of ‘Communication Methods in the Workplace and Managing Malicious Complaints.’ The lecture, which covered not only complaint handling but also communication management for fostering a flexible organizational culture, deeply resonated with the employees.
