Operating every Thursday from July 4 to November 28, 1-4 PM... Starting this year, monthly evening sessions also available ▲Resume Photo Shooting ▲Interview-tailored Hairstyling ▲Makeup All Free of Charge
Gwanak-gu (District Mayor Park Junhee) is operating a ‘Youth Interview Image Consulting Studio’ to provide practical help for job interview preparation.
To ease the financial burden on young people, the studio offers free services including photography, hairstyling, and makeup needed for interviews.
The photography consists of upper-body profile shots for resumes, taken under expert guidance, and retouched photos reflecting requests are provided as files.
Additionally, the studio is equipped with ▲men’s and women’s suit jackets ▲blouses ▲dress shirts ▲neckties, so young people who do not have suits or are hesitant to buy one can use the service without worry.
Moreover, since experts provide interview-tailored hairstyling and makeup services, shooting is possible without any special preparation.
The Youth Interview Image Consulting Studio will operate a total of 20 sessions every Thursday from July 4 to November 28 (1 PM to 4 PM) at Gwanak Youth Center (1759 Nambusunhwan-ro). Especially, starting this year, to accommodate busy young people, on the last Thursday of each month, the studio will operate only during evening hours (6 PM to 8 PM) without time restrictions.
Participants can register by filling out ▲name ▲date of birth ▲contact number ▲email address on the Gwanak-gu website under ‘Participation/Reservation’ (Participation Application → Course/Event Reservation) and applying via Naver Reservation. While advance reservation is preferred, on-site registration is also possible for photography on the day of the session.
The daily capacity is ▲up to 30 people for photography ▲6 to 8 people for hairstyling and makeup.
District Mayor Park Junhee said, “I hope this project will serve as a stepping stone for young people to become independent and develop even in difficult circumstances,” and added, “The district will always strive to be a supporter of young people’s employment success.”
