PETEL and Unidox to Collaborate on Technology Development and Talent Training
Shilla University (President Heo Namsik) I-URP Project Group has signed family company agreements with businesses to foster the development of the pet industry and nurture talented professionals.
On the 11th and 18th, the Shilla University I-URP Project Group held family company agreement ceremonies with PETEL (CEO Lim Jihoon), a pet-friendly travel accommodation reservation platform, and Unidox (CEO Yeom Yongje), a pet care company, to cultivate skilled professionals and promote the advancement of the pet industry and each institution.
Shilla University and the companies agreed to mutually cooperate in the following areas: ▲ Exchange of new technologies and on-site information in education, research, and industry-academia cooperation ▲ Joint technology development, on-site personnel exchange, special lectures and participation ▲ Joint use of facilities, equipment, and devices ▲ Curriculum and technology exchange meetings ▲ Providing students with scholarships, field training, internship, and employment opportunities.
Lim Jihoon, CEO of PETEL, promised, "Through the family company agreement with Shilla University I-URP Project Group, we will actively seek various opportunities for students who are considering their career paths and for the growth of the pet industry."
Yeom Yongje, CEO of Unidox, stated, "We will do our best to foster talented individuals and develop the local pet industry together with the Shilla University I-URP Project Group."
Baek Ilkwon, head of the Shilla University I-URP Project Group, added, "I expect that these agreements with the two companies will provide great opportunities for our Department of Companion Animal Science students," and emphasized, "We will build a cooperative system with companies to focus on developing technologies and nurturing professionals needed in the pet industry."
