KOSHA Holds Second 'Safe Workplace Creation Day' Campaign in June

June 26, Spreading a Safety Culture Focused on Manufacturing Sites

The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (headed by Gong Heungdu) held the second Safety Workplace Creation Day campaign of June on June 26 at the CJ CheilJedang Busan plant in Saha-gu, targeting workers and citizens to foster and spread a culture of safety in the manufacturing industry.

Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency conducted the Safe Workplace Creation Day campaign.

This second Safety Workplace Creation Day campaign in June was attended by about 40 participants, including the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (headed by Kim Junhui), the Northern and Eastern Branches, the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, workplace and partner companies, and members of the Safety Culture Practice Promotion Group.

The campaign included an introduction of the workplace, presentations on safety and health activities, on-site inspections of the manufacturing plant, verification of heat illness prevention measures, and inspections of rest facilities, emphasizing industrial accidents and seasonal risk factors in manufacturing sites.
