Yoon Sang-hyun, the People Power Party's candidate for party leader, requested the party's Special Committee on the General Election White Paper to publish the white paper before the party convention scheduled for the 23rd of next month. Jo Jeong-hoon, the chairman of the special committee, stated that the timing of the white paper publication is a matter for the party leadership to decide.

On the 26th, Yoon attended a meeting with general election candidates from the Incheon and Gangwon regions held by the white paper special committee at the National Assembly, saying, "There is no need to delay the publication of the white paper," and added, "It should be published before the party convention so that candidates can use it as a basis for debate." He further stated, "Announcing it after the party convention could be perceived as a recent invisible ranking behavior, so the sooner it is published, the better."

Yoon also requested, "If the president or Han Dong-hoon, the candidate for party leader, made mistakes in the general election defeat, please clearly write all of that." He asked, "If the president made mistakes, specify them in Chapter One, and in Chapter Two, detail the mistakes in Han's strategy or messaging." He continued, "If the candidate nomination was wrong, at least explain why the nominations were made in the wrong regions, and clearly reveal the grounds and thoughts of those involved. Only then can such errors be prevented from recurring in the future."

In response, Representative Jo told reporters after the meeting, "We plan to hand over the completed white paper to the party leadership after it is made. The timing of the publication should be decided by the party leadership." Regarding the special committee's planned meeting with candidate Han, he said, "(Han) is currently busy with election campaigning, but if he can spare some time, I would like to have a cup of tea with him anytime."
