Inviting Seniors for Samgyetang... Wishing for a Healthy Summer
Harim Practices ESG Management through Various Social Contribution Activities
Harim Co., Ltd. carried out ESG management through the Samgyetang serving volunteer activity "Love's Taste Day" to wish for the health of local seniors during the summer season.
According to Harim on the 26th, in the midst of various organizations serving Samgyetang on the hottest days of summer, the company directly engaged in supporting Samgyetang. On this day, about 40 members of the "Harim Love Sharing Volunteer Group" invited approximately 450 local seniors. They served Samgyetang and chicken prepared by themselves, hoping to provide some strength to those exhausted by the heat.
Since 2012, Harim has been holding the "Love's Taste Day" event for 23 years, continuing community-based social contribution activities by inviting low-income groups and elderly living alone to serve Samgyetang.
On the 19th, they visited the Iksan City welfare facility for the disabled, "Donggeurami Rehabilitation Center," acting as leisure activity helpers by assisting with user walks and conversations. They also conducted volunteer programs such as cleaning inside and outside the facility, laundry support, and garden management. At the Iksan Happiness Sharing Market and Bank, Harim continuously donates products every month, spreading positive influence in the local community through ongoing sharing activities.
Meanwhile, Harim continues various social contribution activities every year. In fulfilling corporate social responsibility, they practice ▲product sponsorship for marginalized groups ▲support for overseas training expenses for science gifted students ▲delivery of scholarship books to elementary students ▲scholarship grants ▲youth cultural exploration ▲support for the "Achimmeokko Achimnanum" event, among others.
CEO Jeong Hoseok said, "I am happy to see the seniors enjoying the carefully prepared meals," adding, "We will become a company that fulfills social responsibility to create a warmer local community in the future."
