Winkle, a leading domestic carbon credit solution company, announced on the 26th that it will hold Winkle Webinar 2024 under the theme of "Global Carbon Regulations and Trends in the Carbon Emissions Trading Market."

This online seminar will feature presentations by domestic and international experts in climate crisis response and carbon emissions trading, providing a broad perspective on climate and carbon issues such as "Global Carbon Policies and Regulations," "Strategies for Responding to Article 6 of the Paris Agreement," and "Investment in Carbon Reduction Projects." Through this, it is expected that corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) officers and stakeholders will be able to prepare more proactive measures against future climate risks.

Winkl Hosts Online Seminar on 'Global Carbon Market and ESG Investment Trends'

Held biweekly starting from the 24th, this seminar will include participation from Professor Oh Dae-gyun, a member of the UN Paris Agreement Article 6.4 Supervisory Body and Winkle’s CCO, as well as key executives from Avorify, a global carbon reduction project developer. The seminar will provide explanations on the international standardization of carbon neutrality and climate crisis response measures through market mechanisms.

Seonghoon Park, CEO of Winkle, stated, "As global carbon reduction regulations are strengthened, competition among governments and companies overseas to reduce carbon emissions and secure carbon credits is intensifying. Domestic companies are also under pressure from overseas contractors to measure and reduce carbon emissions, making swift responses necessary."

Winkle, which distributes high-quality carbon credits officially certified by global carbon certification bodies in Korea, will also introduce its carbon emissions management solutions to domestic companies struggling with carbon emissions regulations during the seminar.

This free seminar is open to anyone interested in climate issues and ESG management.
