Korean Air "Prize Event for Online Check-in Customers"

July 1 to August 18 Period

Korean Air is holding an event that offers prizes to customers who check in online.

Korean Air announced on the 26th that this event will be held from the 1st of next month until August 18.

Among 'Skypass' members using Korean Air international and domestic flights, those who check in online via the Korean Air website or mobile application (app) and check their checked baggage at the 'Self Bag Drop' counter will be automatically entered into the draw.

Korean Air will give away prizes through a lottery among the entrants, including ▲two round-trip economy class tickets to Southeast Asia (1 winner) ▲two round-trip economy class domestic tickets (1 winner) ▲pizza and cola sets (30 winners) ▲chicken and cola sets (100 winners) ▲hamburger and cola sets (200 winners). Winners will be announced on September 4 on the Korean Air website and will also be notified individually.

The proportion of Korean Air passengers using online check-in has increased from 20% in 2019 to 51% in 2024 (January to May cumulative) for international flights, and from 22% to 69% for domestic flights.

A Korean Air official stated, "We will continue to make efforts to improve convenience for customers using online check-in, such as expanding the Self Bag Drop counters so that online check-in customers can handle their checked baggage without inconvenience."
