On the 26th, Korea Investment & Securities forecasted that Nano Team's performance would improve due to the expansion of applications and client companies.

Nano Team is a specialized company in thermal management materials for electrification. It mainly produces heat dissipation materials and flame retardant materials. Heat dissipation materials function by releasing heat through cooling plates and are classified into gap fillers (liquid) and gap pads (solid) depending on the material state. Flame retardant materials serve to block flames and include fire-resistant partitions and thermal runaway prevention pads. Thermal runaway prevention pads are materials that can delay the spread of fire in the event of an electric vehicle fire.

Dohee Lee, a researcher at Korea Investment & Securities, introduced, "Nano Team's products can block flames for about 15 minutes, making them more than three times more efficient than competitors' products, while also having global competitiveness with prices at about 50% of theirs."

He continued, "In the first quarter of this year, sales reached 10.2 billion KRW, and operating profit was 500 million KRW," analyzing that "these figures represent decreases of 18.4% and 69.5%, respectively, compared to the same period last year." He added, "Due to the slowdown in electric vehicle sales, sales of heat dissipation materials applied to vehicle models were sluggish," and "gap pad sales declined following the trend of reduced production proportions of internal combustion engine-derived electric vehicle models."

The researcher stated, "The thermal runaway prevention pad, which was a factor in external growth, has seen delays in the release of applicable vehicle models, so significant sales realization is expected after next year," and "orders resulting from efforts to diversify client companies and applications will begin in the second half of this year." He added, "We are expanding applications as automotive electronic components and are currently proceeding with order contracts," emphasizing that "for flame retardant materials as well, we are expanding client companies focusing on applications with replacement demand for competitors' products."
