Guro-gu Releases 16 KakaoTalk Emoticons Featuring SNS Characters 'Gooseu, Roi, Jiyu, Aro'

Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) will distribute Guro-gu SNS character emoticons for free starting from 2 PM on July 1st.

Last July, the district created SNS characters symbolizing Guro-gu’s smart technology, natural environment, dreams, and hopes, which have been used in digital content and promotional materials including Instagram, Facebook, and blogs.

This KakaoTalk emoticon set, released on the first anniversary of the SNS characters’ creation, consists of 16 different emotions and actions suitable for everyday use to further strengthen district promotion.

The new emoticons can be used free of charge for 30 days by the first 25,000 people who add the KakaoTalk ‘Guro-gu AlimTalk’ channel.

Additionally, to celebrate the launch of the Kakao emoticons, the district will hold an SNS event from June 27th to July 2nd.

Participants can enter the event by following the district office’s SNS accounts and submitting a screenshot of the completed congratulatory comment on the launch via the event form, with prizes awarded through a draw.
