Jeonnam Damyang-gun (Governor Lee Byeong-no) announced on the 25th that it will recruit an additional 5 food truck operators to spread Damyang's diverse food culture and enable local youth to start businesses using food trucks.
A total of 5 trucks will be recruited, with operating locations at Dambit Outdoor Music Hall (3 trucks) and Hanjaegol Arboretum parking lot (2 trucks). During events and festivals, operators can move and operate in consultation with the county.
The recruitment target is youth aged 19 to 49 who are registered residents of Damyang-gun as of the application date, possess a Class 2 or higher regular driver's license, and can report and own a food truck before starting operations.
Food trucks may sell finished products and simple foods, excluding alcoholic beverages, manufactured coffee and drinks, and menus operated by consignment within Dambit Art Warehouse and Forest Play Center. Operators must bear all costs such as cleaning, electricity, and water.
Applications can be submitted by referring to the "Damyang-gun Youth Startup Support Food Truck Operator Open Recruitment" announcement on the Damyang-gun website and sending the application form and supporting documents via email or by visiting the Tourism Division of Damyang-gun Office.
A county official said, "We hope applicants carefully check the recruitment announcement and inspect the site before applying," adding, "We look forward to the interest and applications of many people who have hoped to operate food trucks in this project prepared to support youth startups."
