KT Jeonnam Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters announced on the 25th that, together with the KT Labor Union Honam Regional Headquarters, they held a ceremony at the Gwangju Regional Veterans Office to deliver summer support supplies for veterans' families.
KT labor and management sponsored 40 fans, cool towels, and other daily necessities to help veterans' families stay cool during the summer, expressing gratitude to the national merit recipients and their families who sacrificed for the country.
The support supplies delivered on this day were prepared jointly by KT labor and management to commemorate the achievement of the employee step donation campaign goal, which was implemented to support vulnerable groups in the local community, and are scheduled to be delivered to 40 veterans' families through the Gwangju Regional Veterans Office.
After the delivery ceremony, KT visited the homes of mobility-impaired war veterans' families to deliver summer kits and express appreciation for their sacrifice to the nation. The summer kits consisted of summer bedding, fans, electronic mosquito repellents, and other daily necessities to help spend a cool summer, as well as red ginseng sets for the health of elderly living alone.
Lee Nam-kwon, chairman of the KT Labor Union Honam Regional Headquarters who participated in the event, said, “I am pleased to be able to express even a small token of gratitude to those who protected the country in honor of the Month of National Defense and Veterans,” and added, “We plan to continue meaningful and diverse regional coexistence volunteer activities together with labor and management.”
