Dongseo University Builds Robust Networks to Enhance Glocal Employment Competitiveness

“Fostering Local Talent, Attracting Glocal University 30”

Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) has initiated the establishment of a multilateral network to ensure the success of the Glocal University 30 project.

On the 21st, Dongseo University announced that it had signed a business agreement on the 25th at the Global Room on the 11th floor of the New Millennium Hall with the Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation Busan Regional Headquarters, Busan Northern Employment Center, Sasang District Small Business Association, and the Dongseo University Alumni Association. The agreement aims to successfully promote the Glocal University 30 project and enhance employment competitiveness.

Dongseo University and the partner organizations have agreed to establish an industry-academia cooperation system to foster local-based talent among Dongseo University students and to successfully attract the Glocal University project.

The main contents of the agreement include: ▶Cooperation in employment and local settlement support for students and graduates, including international students ▶Collaboration for the successful attraction of the Glocal University project ▶Development and joint operation of industry-academia cooperation curricula, among others.

Through this agreement, a governance system centered on the University Job Plus Center will be established to support safe field training, student life, career development, and employment connections for Dongseo University students. In addition, the university will jointly respond to the expansion of international student recruitment and secure momentum to actively promote the Glocal University project through an organic cooperation system among the alumni association and alumni companies.

Under the vision of "Busan Open Consortium University Realizing Mutual Benefits for Busan City and Universities Based on an Integrated Industry-Academia Cooperation Group," Dongseo University is formulating and implementing a Glocal University strategy together with Dong-A University and Busan City.

Representatives from Dongseo University and local related organizations signed a business agreement at Dongseo University on the 21st to successfully promote Glocal University 30 and enhance employment competitiveness.
