Kibo, Digital Twin Company SimSysGlobal Selected as 'IP-Value Promising Small Business'

The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Kibo) announced on the 25th that it has selected SimSys Global as an ‘IP-Value Small Giant Company’ by reflecting the results of the technology value evaluation of the digital twin technology owned by the company, and will support an excellent IP Value Plus guarantee of 1.1 billion KRW.

The Value Plus guarantee is a customized guarantee product that discovers excellent IP corresponding to high value-added advanced technology among intellectual property (IP) owned by small and medium enterprises, and supports commercialization funds linked to guarantees within the calculated value amount. Kibo’s Central Technology Evaluation Institute awards the ‘IP-Value Small Giant Company’ certificate to excellent IP companies selected through high-level technology value evaluations.

SimSys Global is a small and medium enterprise established in December 2018 by CEO Kim Yoon-je. Based on its independently developed 3D modeling technology (Meta-B), it mainly provides ‘digital twin’ services in the defense and smart building sectors. Digital twin technology replicates physical objects such as real-world spaces or machinery in digital space to perform monitoring and simulation, enabling prediction and decision-making based on the results. It is actively introduced in various fields including manufacturing, defense, medical, and smart cities.

Kibo highly evaluated SimSys Global’s technological capabilities and supported the Value Plus guarantee of 1.1 billion KRW this time. It has actively supported technology commercialization through guarantee-linked investment, venture company certification evaluation, and preliminary diagnosis evaluation for technology-special listing.
