Comprehensive Business Partnership Agreement to Revitalize Card Business

KB Kookmin Card announced on the 25th that it has signed a comprehensive business partnership agreement with iM Bank (formerly DGB Daegu Bank). Song Ho-young, Executive Director of Kookmin Card's New Growth Business Group, and Jin Young-su, Group Leader of iM Bank, signed the comprehensive business partnership agreement to revitalize the card business at the iM Bank iM Financial Center the day before.

Through this agreement, Kookmin Card will establish a prepaid card agency system and collaborate on the youth 'Youth Card' that iM Bank will launch for the first time in the second half of this year. In addition, both companies will share experiences related to card business and support activities to revitalize iM Bank's card business. They also plan to cooperate mutually to create various synergies between the two companies, discover new businesses, and ensure the successful card business of iM Bank.

Kookmin Card has been processing card payments for various financial companies since 2017. Going forward, it plans to expand its agency processing area by sharing processing agency capabilities and know-how with financial companies and fintech (finance + technology) companies.
