Walking Around Naked on Campus Calling Out Ex-Boyfriend's Name
A story has emerged from China about a 40-year-old woman who went to her 18-year-old ex-boyfriend's school and wandered around naked to take revenge. On the 24th, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported, "At the end of last month, a woman was seen wandering naked at Jingzhou University of Technology in Hubei Province, central China." The woman, whose identity is unknown, posted on her Douyin (Chinese version of TikTok) account that an 18-year-old youth named Yang Mo had sexual relations with her, extorted money, and then abandoned her.
One student who saw this said, "The woman's extreme behavior stemmed from a desire for revenge against her boyfriend." SCMP reported that the woman walked naked around the university's sports field and buildings, shouting her ex-boyfriend's name to socially disgrace him. A student explained, "It seemed she did this to see the man embarrassed." Local netizens reacted with comments such as, "She paid too high a price to take revenge on someone not worth it," and "The woman embarrassed herself more than her boyfriend." Jingzhou University of Technology has not issued any particular statement regarding the woman's behavior of wandering naked on campus.
Local netizens expressed sympathy with comments like, "(The woman) paid too high a price to take revenge on someone not worth it," and "When she comes to her senses, she will probably be more embarrassed than her ex-boyfriend." According to local public security administrative punishment laws, a person who deliberately exposes themselves in public places can be detained for 5 to 10 days.
