Ahn Hyodae, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs, Holds Meeting at Toktok Factory Dong-gu Branch
Ulsan City is set to listen to the difficulties faced at the youth entrepreneurship field.
Ulsan City announced that it will hold a meeting at 3 p.m. on the 25th at "Toktok Factory Dong-gu Branch," a small-scale manufacturing space for young entrepreneurs in the manufacturing sector.
About ten people, including Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs Ahn Hyodae and resident young entrepreneurs, will attend the meeting.
Deputy Mayor Ahn is expected to encourage the resident young entrepreneurs and listen to the challenges they face in local startup activities.
"Toktok Factory Dong-gu Branch" was established by Ulsan City in February 2019 at Hanmaeum Center to provide a manufacturing startup space themed around biomedical for young people. This year in January, it was expanded and relocated to Mipo Center.
An official from Ulsan City said, "With the relocation of Toktok Factory Dong-gu Branch from Hanmaeum Center, the number of rooms has expanded from five to seven, allowing resident entrepreneurs to focus more efficiently on manufacturing and production activities."
Ulsan City currently operates five Toktok Factory locations and one Toktok Street as youth startup spaces. By the end of this year, the city plans to add one more Toktok Factory (Nam-gu 2nd Branch) to further support the shortage of startup spaces for young entrepreneurs.
