Geumcheon-gu Supports Overseas Market Expansion for SMEs... G-Valley Export Consultation Meeting Held

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yoo Seong-hoon) announced that on July 3rd, it will hold the 'G-Valley Overseas Buyer Invitation Export Consultation' at the Gold River Hotel in Gasan-dong, targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the beauty, healthcare, and consumer goods sectors.

The event is jointly promoted with the Seoul Business Agency, Guro-gu, and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation to support SMEs that have excellent products but face difficulties in developing overseas market channels due to a lack of information about foreign companies.

About 50 companies located in G-Valley and Seoul, selected through a prior public recruitment, and 20 promising overseas companies' buyers will participate in the export consultation.

Participating companies can receive professional export support consulting and expect to enter overseas markets through business matching via one-on-one offline consultations with overseas buyers.

Especially this year, buyers participating in the export consultation have been pre-verified through video interviews, checking the status of their companies and import-export history, ensuring they are buyers highly likely to import products from domestic companies.

Additionally, overseas buyers who wish to trade with domestic companies were surveyed in advance and invited to participate in the consultation to help SMEs achieve tangible results.

The second export consultation will be held on September 4th at the L Convention in Guro-gu, targeting companies in the information and communication (IT) and electrical and electronics sectors.

Yoo Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, "We hope that companies producing excellent products in the region will pioneer new markets and achieve great results through this export consultation." He added, "The district operates not only export consultations for SMEs to develop sales channels but also supports participation in overseas exhibitions, so we ask for your interest and participation."

For more details, inquiries can be made to the Geumcheon-gu Office Regional Economy Division or the Seoul Business Agency.
