Korea Import Expo to be Held on the 4th of Next Month... "An Opportunity to Discover Excellent Overseas Products"

Over 200 Companies from 60 Countries Attending Abroad
Inviting E-commerce Companies Including AliExpress

The Korea Importers Association announced on the 24th that it will hold the "21st Korea Import Fair" at COEX in Seoul for three days starting from the 4th of next month.

Hosted by the Korea Importers Association and supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA, the Korea Import Fair is the only B2B exhibition specializing in imports in Korea.

This fair will be attended by promising overseas companies wishing to enter the Korean market, as well as domestic importers and distribution buyers. Visitors can experience excellent products and cultures from various countries in one place, including specialty products and diverse consumer goods from over 200 companies across 60 countries.

The opening ceremony on the 4th will be attended by Kim Byung-kwan, Chairman of the Korea Importers Association, Jung In-kyo, Director General of Trade Negotiations at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, ambassadors from 63 countries including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), China, and Australia, as well as domestic and international economic organization leaders.

An association official explained, "Various events suitable for a B2B import specialized fair, such as one-on-one B2B import consultations between overseas participating companies and domestic buyers, and global distribution seminars, will be held during the fair," adding, "We expect many domestic buyers interested in global sourcing to visit and find practical business support." In particular, global e-commerce companies such as AliExpress, Alibaba.com, TikTok, Tmall, and Shopee will be invited throughout the fair to hold seminars aimed at expanding distribution channels.

Kim Byung-kwan, Chairman of the Korea Importers Association, said, "It is a very important time to diversify efforts to stabilize the global supply chain for the development of our industry and enhancement of export competitiveness," and added, "Since this fair directly involves excellent overseas manufacturers not yet introduced to Korea, it will be a golden opportunity for our companies to discover outstanding foreign products."
