StoryWiz (CEO Jeon Dae-jin), a content specialist company of the KT Group, recently signed a mutual agreement with Jipyeong-ri Cultural Content Production (CEO Son Baek-hyun) to carry out a one-source multi-use business utilizing regional content.

Through this agreement, both companies will mutually cooperate on ▲discovering intellectual property (IP) for webtoons and web novels based on regional content ▲developing new business items based on the IPs owned by both companies ▲exploring other possible areas for mutual exchange, cooperation, and marketing.

Taking this agreement as an opportunity, they plan to create and distribute content such as webtoons and web novels using the Battle of Jipyeong-ri and General Monclar content.

The French forces led by General Monclar, in alliance with the U.S. military, repelled the Chinese People's Volunteer Army's attack and defended their positions around Jipyeong-ri, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province during the Battle of Jipyeong-ri in February 1951.

Last year, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the ROK-U.S. Mutual Defense Treaty and the Armistice Agreement, activities honoring General Monclar's achievements have been underway, including the establishment of the 'Monclar Road' and the installation of sculptures.

StoryWiz is a KT Group content specialist company engaged in the production and distribution of web novels and webtoons. Jipyeong-ri Cultural Content Production was established last year to develop content businesses using various cultural contents from Jipyeong-ri, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province. They plan to expand production into areas such as documentaries and feature films by utilizing unique regional content.
