On the 21st, KNN reported a story about a woman who was seen lying down and sleeping on a seat inside the Busan Subway Line 2 train heading towards Yangsan. In a video posted by informant A, the woman is seen turned towards the backrest, sleeping without caring about the surrounding gazes. One of her shoes and her bag, presumed to belong to her, are scattered underneath. Next to the woman, there is a person standing because they could not find a seat.

A explained the situation, saying, "The woman appeared to be in her early 20s, and she tossed and turned as if disturbed by the subway noise while sleeping." He added, "Passengers in the adjacent seats avoided her by sitting elsewhere or looked on uncomfortably, unable to wake her up." He continued, "She lay down for about seven more stops, then suddenly got up at one station, looked around as if trying to understand the situation, and quickly got off. It was a crowded station, and no one could sit, which was uncomfortable and absurd. It was fascinating to see something I had only seen online in real life."

Netizens who saw the video reacted with comments such as, "Did she start drinking early in the day?", "She's really a nuisance," "Seems like someone out of it," "If she took off her shoes to sleep, she must have intended to sleep there," "Does she not think this is a nuisance?", "People like that should be reported immediately," "Being tired is her problem, but being a nuisance is a nuisance," and "The smell of alcohol is strong even here."

Meanwhile, passengers causing discomfort can be reported by installing the 'Ttota Subway' or 'KORAIL Subway Talk' applications. When reporting via the app, your location is automatically confirmed, enabling quick action. Additionally, you can check the train car number displayed above the subway doors or on the automatic doors leading to adjacent cars, and send a text message to the line-specific reporting center with ▲destination ▲car number ▲car section ▲details of the complaint. Subway security officers can then be dispatched to take measures such as removing the nuisance passenger.
