Trained with Seoul 120 Dasan Call Data for High-Accuracy Responses
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Soon-hee) announced that it has completed the renewal of its official website, which began earlier this year, and unveiled it to residents on the 24th. The district significantly improved the design and menus to provide high convenience and accessibility to users visiting the website.
The new Gangbuk-gu website features the first-ever public institution service to utilize ChatGPT, offering a ’AI (Artificial Intelligence) Civil Complaint Consultation Chatbot‘ service available 24/7, 365 days a year. The Gangbuk-gu AI Civil Complaint Consultation Chatbot quickly provides highly accurate answers to various questions from residents by learning from the 120 Dasan Call data operated by Seoul City and additional data from Gangbuk-gu Office.
The website interface stands out with an intuitive layout and clean design to ensure easy use for users. The district placed the ‘How can we help you?’ bulletin board at the top left corner of the main screen so that users can quickly and conveniently resolve their inquiries. The search program was designed to increase accessibility by allowing residents unfamiliar with official terminology to see desired results in everyday language.
Additionally, frequently visited menus such as ▲Large Household Waste Application ▲Local Tax Payment ▲Small Business Support Projects ▲Urban Maintenance ▲Civil Complaint Guide are separately arranged in the middle of the screen.
Among Seoul’s 25 autonomous districts, Gangbuk-gu boasts high subscription rates and view counts on its ‘Gangbuk-gu YouTube’ channel, and it also operates an ‘Online Reservation’ corner to quickly apply for programs such as lectures, events, and tours provided by the district.

The district designed the newly launched website to be mobile-friendly, reflecting the latest web trends. Furthermore, it enhanced security performance by using the latest e-government standard framework.
