Mapo District Mayor Park Gang-su and Busan Nam-gu District Mayor Oh Eun-taek Strengthen Friendship While Walking Along 'Poet's Street' and 'Hongdae Red Road'

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, acted as a promotional ambassador for Mapo by introducing major attractions to Oh Eun-taek, Mayor of Nam-gu, Busan, and other officials who visited Mapo-gu from Nam-gu on the 20th and 21st.

Mapo-gu established a sisterhood relationship with Nam-gu, Busan, in September last year to promote mutual cooperation and win-win development, and organized this exchange event for mutual hometown love donation contributions and other purposes.

On the afternoon of the 20th, the Nam-gu delegation arriving at Mapo-gu Office watched a promotional video about Mapo-gu in the main conference room and listened to the current status of the district administration. Then, they held a mutual hometown love donation ceremony and exchanged souvenirs together with Mapo-gu.

After the indoor event at Mapo-gu Office, Mayor Park Gang-su walked with the Nam-gu delegation from the Red Road Power Plant to Red Road R7, widely promoting the charm of the world-famous “Hongdae Red Road.”

On the morning of the 21st, Mayor Park Gang-su explained Mapo’s representative projects to the Nam-gu delegation at the “Filial Piety Meal Side Dish Factory,” recognized as a model welfare project for senior citizens, and at the “Poet’s Street” on the Nanji Theme Tourism Forest Trail, where flowers bloom all year round.
