Cheolsan Hanshin Apartment, the first remodeling project in Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do, has passed the architectural review.

The consortium of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction and Hyundai Engineering announced on the 21st that Cheolsan Hanshin passed the architectural committee review for the first time in Gwangmyeong-si on the 11th. This comes one year after being notified to re-examine due to the need for technical review supplementation in the April review last year.
Following the approval of the architectural review, the association plans to hold a general meeting to establish and approve the rights change plan after completing the urban planning review next month. From October onwards, they plan to secure consent forms to apply for project plan approval. The goal is to obtain project plan approval and proceed with relocation next year.
Completed in 1992, Cheolsan Hanshin consists of 12 buildings with a maximum of 25 floors and 1,568 households. Through this horizontal expansion remodeling, the number of households will increase by 235 to a total of 1,803 households. The maximum number of floors and buildings will remain unchanged, and the additional households will be offered for general sale.
Industry insiders explain that this approval is significant as it was granted amid a situation where the government’s major relaxation of reconstruction regulations in January caused existing remodeling projects to shift toward reconstruction, causing disruptions in the projects.
A representative from Ssangyong Engineering & Construction said, "We will work together with the association to promote the project quickly."
