Goheung-gun Offers Additional 5% Cashback for Using Affordable Price Businesses

From July 1, Earn Up to 15% Points

Gohung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) announced plans to offer an additional 5% cashback benefit when paying with the Gohung Love Card or mobile Gohung Love Gift Certificate at Good Price Stores starting in July.

Good Price Stores are businesses that provide affordable prices and high-quality services. According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety guidelines, these stores are designated through evaluation among those whose item prices are below the regional average and meet hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Additionally, designated stores receive support for consumables such as waste volume-based garbage bags annually to reduce management burdens, and promotions are conducted to encourage the use of Good Price Stores.

As of January 1, 2024, the county designated 15 locations as Good Price Stores (11 restaurants, 2 coffee shops, 1 bakery, and 1 bathhouse).

To overcome the ongoing high inflation and high interest rate situation and revitalize the local economy, from July 1 until the budget is exhausted, a 5% additional cashback benefit will be provided when paying with the Gohung Love Card or mobile Gohung Love Gift Certificate at Good Price Stores within the county.

The additional cashback is accumulated separately from the basic 10% cashback earned when paying with the card or mobile Gohung Love Gift Certificate, allowing up to 15% cashback accumulation.

For example, when paying 300,000 KRW monthly with the Gohung Love Gift Certificate at a Good Price Store, the basic 10% cashback of 30,000 KRW plus an additional 5% cashback of 15,000 KRW can be earned, totaling up to 45,000 KRW in cashback benefits.

A county official said, “We ask residents to actively participate in using Good Price Stores that maintain affordable prices even during high inflation periods to help stabilize prices and revitalize the economy for ordinary citizens.”
