President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating for his administration remains stagnant in the mid-20% range. However, the disapproval rating showed a slight decrease.

According to a public opinion poll released on the 21st by Gallup (conducted nationwide from the 18th to 20th via wireless phone interviews with 1,002 adults aged 18 and over), President Yoon's approval rating stood at 26%, the same as last week's survey. The disapproval rating dropped by 2 percentage points to 64%.

Regarding President Yoon's performance, negative opinions generally prevailed, but among conservative-leaning groups, residents of Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and full-time homemakers, positive and negative opinions were similarly expressed.

President Yoon's approval rating has remained in the 20% range for three months since the April general election. After hitting a post-inauguration low of 21% three weeks ago, there has been an improving trend in June.

In terms of party support, the People Power Party's approval rating rose by 2 percentage points to 32%, while the Democratic Party improved by 1 percentage point to 28%. The Joguk Innovation Party fell by 2 percentage points to 9%, and the Reform Party remained unchanged at 4%.

This survey also included favorability ratings for major political figures. The results showed Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon at 36%, Joguk Innovation Party leader Joguk at 35%, Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung at 33%, former People Power Party Emergency Committee Chairman Han Dong-hoon at 31%, Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo at 30%, and Reform Party member Lee Jun-seok at 27%.
