On the 20th, Lee held a press conference at the National Assembly Communication Office and said, "I will reorganize the party and create a one-team People Power Party that protects liberal democracy and works hard for the happiness of the people." He added, "To achieve this, I will first strengthen the party secretariat organization." He emphasized, "The party secretariat is currently very exhausted and has forgotten the joy of winning," and "I will transform it into an organization that knows the joy of victory and is willing to dedicate itself for that joy."

Lee also expressed his determination to revitalize the party's think tank, the Yeouido Research Institute. He said, "I will support the Yeouido Research Institute to become the best policy research institution in our country," and "I will restore the history and tradition of the Yeouido Research Institute so that it can accurately read the trends of the times and support winning policies."

Lee showed his commitment to supporting marginalized young party members and out-of-office district committee heads. He stated, "I will establish systematic education for young party members and create youth activity spaces at the party headquarters," and "Before the local elections, I will double the support policies for out-of-office district committee heads in underprivileged areas."

Lee said, "Criticizing and quarreling with each other internally is not the path true conservatives should take," and "Those we need to overcome are not the president or those who have devoted themselves to the party's victory."

Lee, who was recruited to the party in January ahead of the general election, is a restaurateur. After the election defeat, he has been serving as a member of the party's special committee on the general election white paper and is also active in 'Seongchal-gwa Gak-o,' a gathering of out-of-office district committee heads.
