Kyungnam College of Information & Technology has received the highest rating, 'S grade', in the annual evaluation of the Local Specialized College Revitalization Project organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
The college was highly evaluated in all areas, including the establishment and operation of governance among local governments, universities, and industries for the development of the Busan regional industry and the university's co-growth, the application of differentiated innovative teaching methods through the participation of experts in specialized fields, and active recruitment and professional development of faculty for university specialization.
Through this project, the university is operating employment and entrepreneurship programs tailored to local demand, leading the cultivation of top professional technical talent and resident-type talent in the Busan region.
President Kim Taesang stated, "Kyungnam College of Information & Technology will continue to further strengthen specialized fields linked to Busan's strategic industries and do its best to foster professional technical talent tailored to local industries."
