The event, organized by the Planning and Finance Committee of the Busan Metropolitan Council (Chairman: Council Member Kim Kwangmyung), was held to support legislative activities and seek policy alternatives for major municipal issues. More than 10 participants, including committee-affiliated city council members and advisory committee members, attended the event.
Professor Kim emphasized, "Busan already has the potential and infrastructure to grow as a city specialized in cultural content centered on games. To make more active use of this infrastructure, establish games as a core cultural content, and prepare for fierce global competition in the future, it is necessary to develop more specialized training programs, such as master's and doctoral courses in game studies."
