Anseong-si and LH Sign Business Agreement to Support Youth Housing

Cooperation Including Provision of Youth Purchase Rental Housing

On the 19th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 20th that it had signed the 'Anseong-Matchum Youth Housing Support Business Agreement' with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) Southern Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters to support local youth.

Through this agreement, the city and LH agreed to actively cooperate to provide housing spaces for Anseong youth. Specifically, LH will provide youth purchase rental housing in Anseong and manage and operate these facilities. Anseong City will cooperate in selecting tenants according to local demand.

Previously, in October last year, the city collaborated with LH to recruit tenants for the 'Anseong-Matchum Youth Housing,' a local demand-tailored housing support project for youth preparing for employment, entrepreneurship, self-reliance, artists, and university students in Anseong.

Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong City, stated, "Through cooperation with LH, we have been able to provide stable housing spaces that can reduce the burden on young people," and added, "We will continue to strive for various housing support projects for local youth."
