Daedong Hospital Selected as Busan City's 'Excellent Employment Company' of the Year

Daedong Hospital (Director Lee Gwangjae) was selected as a '2024 Excellent Employment Company' and participated in the certificate award ceremony held on the 1st floor main conference room of Busan City Hall on the 20th.

The Excellent Employment Company, certified by Busan City and supervised by the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, is selected through a review of companies based in Busan that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in job security, job creation, and welfare improvement for their employees.

Based on evaluations such as ▲employment growth ▲quality of employment ▲management soundness ▲contribution to job creation, 15 companies including Daedong Hospital, 'Panacea', 'Donghwa Entec', and 'Eco Energy Technology Research Institute' were selected. The certification is valid for three years.

The certificate and plaque were awarded on this day, and the companies will receive various benefits such as support funds for improving the working environment and local tax reductions.

Ko Kyungsook, Chairperson of Hwabong Academy (Daedong University, Daedong Hospital), said, "About 70 years ago, the late Dr. Park Youngseop, a surgeon, founded Daedong University and Daedong Hospital. The fact that we have been able to fulfill our role as a regional base hospital until now is thanks to the efforts of our executives and staff," and added, "We will continue to realize our vision for future development, create an employment environment where talented people from Busan can build their lives here, and do our best to contribute to local economic development and job creation."

As a result of various activities related to regional development and job creation, Daedong Hospital was selected for the '2024 Youth Employment Company Support Project' by Busan City and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, as well as the 'Future Tomorrow Work Experience Project (Internship Type)' by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
