NH Investment & Securities announced on the 20th that their affiliated golf player Park Min-ji has completed donating the entire prize money of 220 million KRW from her tournament victory. Among this, she donated 100 million KRW to the NongHyup Foundation, a public interest foundation affiliated with NongHyup under NH Investment & Securities, with whom she has maintained a sponsor-player relationship since her professional debut. The NongHyup Foundation plans to use the funds in underprivileged farming areas at Park Min-ji's request.
On the 9th, Park Min-ji announced that she would donate the entire 216 million KRW prize money from the 'KLPGA 2024 Celltrion Queens Masters Tournament' to the underprivileged. Adding her personal funds, she decided to donate a total of 220 million KRW, and the recipients were recently finalized. 100 million KRW was given to the NongHyup Foundation, 100 million KRW to Korea University Anam Hospital, and 10 million KRW each to the Wooyang Foundation and Korea University Sejong Campus. Park said, "I feel even more meaningful to donate to the NongHyup welfare foundation, which has been with me since my professional debut," and added, "I would be happy if the funds are used well where they are needed."
Through this victory, Park Min-ji became the first in KLPGA history to achieve four consecutive wins in a single tournament. To commemorate the four consecutive wins and to respect and participate in the spirit of donation, NongHyup also provided a special incentive equal to the prize money on the 11th.
