GS25, operated by GS Retail, is the first in the industry to commercialize and launch the Japanese-style stir-fried noodle dish 'Kujirai-style Ramen,' which has gained popularity on social media. Kujirai-style Ramen is a recipe named after Kujirai, the protagonist of the Japanese manga magazine 'Weekly Shonen Champion's' series 'Thursday's Flute,' and is a stir-fried noodle dish born from her daily life with a stray cat. To replicate the Japanese-style stir-fried noodle texture, Japanese ramen noodles were used, and the distinctive egg of Kujirai-style ramen was recreated as an egg block. The contents are packed in a container for easy microwave preparation. The price is 3,600 KRW.

7-Eleven and Sevenbrau Introduce 'Crust Beer' Using Bread Crusts

Convenience store 7-Eleven, in collaboration with Sevenbrau, is launching the industry's first new-concept upcycled beer called Crust Beer. Crust Beer is Korea's first bread beer, made by adding bread during the beer brewing process. This new style of beer was born following the partial amendment of the Liquor Tax Act Enforcement Decree earlier this year, which expanded the range of ingredients allowed in beer. The product was developed jointly by 7-Eleven, bakery company Samlip, and first-generation craft beer brand Sevenbrau. Bread crumbs made from leftover sandwich bread crusts were used instead of wheat flour, and the beer was brewed using the same process as regular wheat beer, ensuring no difference in taste or quality. The price is 4,500 KRW, and four cans can be purchased for 12,000 KRW.

Shinsegae Food's gastropub Devilsdoor is introducing a highball made with American bourbon whiskey 'Evan Williams.' The Evan Williams Highball, available at Devilsdoor Central City branch, combines the unique flavors of bourbon whiskey?vanilla, brown sugar, caramel, and oak aromas?with refreshing and crisp notes. It is offered in six varieties?Original Black, Sangria, Honey Grapefruit Whiskey Tea, Apple, Fire Coke, and Honey Wheat?allowing customers to enjoy according to their personal preferences and menu choices. For customers wishing to sample various highballs, a highball board featuring three selected highballs at a reasonable price is also available.
