Gukddeok Achieves 2nd Place in Sales at Seoul Food Expo... K-Food Tteokbokki to Go to New York This Month

EyzeVision's wholly owned subsidiary, EN Creative's 'Chueok-ui Gukminhakgyo Tteokbokki (Gukddeok),' participated in the live commerce sales competition at the 'Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition (Seoul Food) 2024' and achieved second place in sales.


During the exhibition, EN Creative held consultations with over 50 new domestic and international buyers and will participate in the Fancy Food Show in New York, USA, this month, showcasing tteokbokki, a representative Korean snack.


On the 20th, the tteokbokki specialty brand Gukddeok announced that it successfully concluded the Seoul Food event held from the 11th to the 14th at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.


At this exhibition, visitors could experience both Gukddeok's popular domestic products and export products in one place. In particular, the company's signature products, the 'Original Tteokbokki' and the new 'Rose Tteokbokki,' were offered in tasting events during the exhibition, receiving positive feedback from attendees who praised their excellent taste, the company explained.


On the final day of the exhibition, Gukddeok participated in the live commerce sales competition hosted by the event, selling sets including 'Gukddeok Signature Tteokbokki 4 types,' 'Samgak Japchae Gunmandu,' and 'Assorted Fried Snacks,' ranking second in sales and attracting significant interest from online consumers.


A Gukddeok representative said, "During the exhibition, we held consultations with over 50 new domestic and international buyers, reaffirming the high interest in tteokbokki, a representative Korean snack, not only domestically but also overseas. This exhibition provided a stepping stone for us to advance as a food specialist company promoting tteokbokki globally."


They added, "We plan to continuously promote our products and brand overseas and expand exports through ongoing participation in international exhibitions such as the New York Fancy Food Show starting on the 23rd of this month and the SIAL PARIS International Food Exhibition in France in October."


Meanwhile, Gukddeok currently exports to 35 countries worldwide, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Notably, it has surpassed 20 million packs in cumulative sales and $25 million in cumulative export revenue.
