Dementia, Infectious Disease, and Heat-related Illness Prevention Education
On the 19th, Dasan-myeon in Goryeong-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, conducted a safety education session on the third floor auditorium of the township office, with 243 participants from the senior job program attending. The session focused on the prevention of dementia, infectious diseases, and heat-related illnesses.
The training included education on the prevention of senile dementia, hygiene practices such as handwashing to prevent spring and summer infectious diseases, and guidance on preventing heat-related illnesses during outdoor activities in the hot season.
Head of Dasan-myeon Jeon Yongwoon stated, "I hope that all seniors participating in the senior job program can stay healthy in their later years without worrying about dementia," and added, "I ask everyone to stay safe and avoid accidents such as collapsing or getting injured during outdoor activities in the hot summer while participating in the senior job program."
