Appointment of Shin Jeong-tae as Chair of the Budget and Accounts Committee of Seocho District Council

The Seocho District Council (Chairman Oh Se-cheol) held the 3rd plenary session of the 1st regular meeting of the 334th session on the 18th, appointing members of the Budget and Accounts Special Committee to review the 2024 first supplementary budget for revenues and expenditures, continuing the regular meeting schedule.

The appointed Budget and Accounts Committee members include Chairman Shin Jeong-tae, Vice Chairman Kim Ji-hoon, and council members Go Seon-jae, Kim Seong-ju, Lee Hyun-sook, Oh Ji-hwan, Ahn Byeong-du, Yoo Ji-woong, and Ha Seo-young.

The supplementary budget submitted by the Seocho District Office amounts to approximately 133.5 billion KRW, which is 15.31% of the existing budget of 872.2 billion KRW.

Key detailed projects include ▲ construction of the Umyeon convenience facility library ▲ creation and maintenance of mountain-type parks ▲ support for elderly care facilities ▲ support for infertile couples ▲ environmental improvement of Gangnam Station Exit 9 ▲ sidewalk expansion to revitalize the Yangjaecheon road commercial district, among others.

The council plans to review the supplementary budget by standing committees from the 19th to the 21st, followed by the Budget and Accounts Committee review from the 24th to the 27th, with final approval scheduled at the 4th plenary session on the 28th.
