Joint Operation of Exhibition Booth with Japanese Partner NHN Tekorus
AI SPERA (CEO Kang Byung-tak) announced on June 19 that it will participate in the "Card Security Forum 2024" held at the Tokyo International Forum together with its local Japanese partner NHN Techorus Corp. (CEO Shirakura Akiteru).
Hosted by the Japan Card Data Security Council (JCDSC), the "Card Security Forum 2024" is held under the theme of "Preventing Card Fraud and Full-scale Operation of PCI DSS v4.0" in response to the need for PCI DSS certification and the demand for strengthened card security measures. Many companies related to Japan's credit card payment systems are participating in exhibitions and lectures. Since the international online payment security certification "PCI DSS" v4.0 has been officially required for companies in Japan from April this year, awareness of card security among companies and institutions related to credit card payment services has been strengthened.
AI SPERA participated as the developer of the cyber threat intelligence search engine "Criminal IP," which has obtained PCI DSS certification. "Criminal IP" has been recognized for its global-level security safety by acquiring the highest Level 1 rating through on-site audits and evaluations by global certification bodies. At this forum, AI SPERA is showcasing the attack surface management solution "Criminal IP ASM," based on the threat intelligence of "Criminal IP," which has been certified for payment security, attracting attention from many Japanese stakeholders.
"Criminal IP ASM" is a SaaS-based attack surface management solution that uses IP address data-based threat intelligence and AI analysis technology to detect IT assets and vulnerabilities of companies and institutions, open port information, sensitive information exposed on the dark web and Google, and leaked account information. It visualizes these on a dashboard and provides reports to enable rapid response.
Kang Byung-tak, CEO of AI SPERA, stated, "In the global security industry, payment security is the most important factor for service safety, and Criminal IP obtained the global PCI DSS certification within five months of commercialization. We are pleased to participate in this 'Card Security Forum' together with NHN Techorus and to promote the safety and excellence of our payment system as a Korean service and company entering Japan."
Meanwhile, since the global launch of "Criminal IP" in May 2023, AI SPERA has about 150,000 members worldwide and provides enterprise security solutions such as the attack surface management solution "Criminal IP ASM" and the abnormal user detection system "Criminal IP FDS," both developed for the first time domestically, to customers at home and abroad. Additionally, AI SPERA participated in the three-day IT exhibition "Interop Tokyo 2024" held in Tokyo last week, where it attracted attention from Japanese IT industry stakeholders through lectures on the necessity of ASM and booth operations.
