Sent to Over 600 People Including Courts and Police
An email claiming that explosives were planted at Samsung headquarters was sent, prompting the police to trace the sender.
According to the Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on the 19th, at around 11:48 PM on the 17th, an email titled "Allah is Great" was sent to about 600 people including employees of the Seoul Central District Court, judges from regional courts such as Busan and Daegu, police officers, and Samsung Group employees.
The email reportedly contained a message stating, "Explosives (lead azide bomb) have been planted at Samsung headquarters, and it will be detonated within a few hours, so please search carefully."
The police have started an investigation before formal charges, but the sender has not yet been identified.
