In North America, the sun care market is expanding significantly, leading to an increase in the launch of not only high-end brand products but also indie beauty brand sun care products. Ingledwood Lab produces its premium line at the Toto factory in New Jersey, USA. The Incheon factory, which mainly produces the indie beauty line, recently completed an expansion, increasing the factory size by 26%.

Jiwoo Baek, a researcher at Shinhan Investment Corp., explained, "In the U.S., sunscreen products are classified as over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, requiring certified production facilities and more than two years of research and development." He added, "Ingledwood Lab has been producing OTC products since 2010 and holds numerous OTC-specialized references."

He continued, "This year, on a consolidated basis, sales are expected to reach 257.2 billion KRW and operating profit 38.7 billion KRW, representing increases of 24.4% and 34.2% respectively compared to last year," adding, "In addition to the seasonal peak effect, strong performance is expected from the second half of the year when production of the OTC product line fully ramps up."
