Cultural Arts of Sinan-gun Expanding Globally
Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) announced on the 19th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for establishing a friendly cooperative relationship, cultural exchange, and mutual cooperation with Pietrasanta City, Italy, on the 15th.
The signing of this MOU, held locally in Italy, aims to build a close cooperative relationship between the two cities in the fields of culture and arts. Furthermore, there are plans to expand and develop cooperation into the private sector and various industrial fields.
In particular, through this MOU, the Shinan-gun Public Art Museum (Infinito Museum), scheduled to be completed in 2025 as part of Shinan-gun’s ‘One Island, One Museum’ cultural arts project, is expected to serve as an opportunity for Shinan-gun’s cultural and artistic development to extend beyond the region and engage with the world.
