CU Launches Inside Out 2 Transportation Cards

CU is releasing the ‘Inside Out 2 T-money Transportation Cards.’ Inside Out 2 is an animated film about 13-year-old Riley whose emotional control center in her mind faces new emotions such as anxiety, embarrassment, boredom, and envy, disrupting her peaceful life and leading to new crises and adventures. The first film, released in 2015, attracted about 5 million viewers, and the sequel has maintained the number one spot at the box office since its release.

The Inside Out 2 transportation cards offered by CU come in two types (each priced at 6,000 KRW). The cards feature the most popular character ‘Sadness’ from the movie and the newly introduced character ‘Anxiety’ from the sequel. The cards incorporate new technology that lights up white LEDs on design elements reflecting each character’s traits, such as Sadness’s tears and Anxiety’s lightning bolt, when tapped on a terminal.

Cheongjeongwon Homings Launches Summer Health Food ‘Nokdu Samgyetang’

Daesang Cheongjeongwon’s convenience food brand ‘Homings’ is launching a new product, ‘Nokdu Samgyetang,’ a popular health food for the hottest days of summer. Homings’ Nokdu Samgyetang is generously packed with all ingredients. It uses a whole No. 5 chicken (over 500g of meat), which is the size typically used in restaurants, along with domestic fresh ginseng, jujube, glutinous rice, and peeled mung beans for a richer flavor and enhanced nutrition.

Additionally, Homings maximized the taste with its unique technology. The chicken is simmered slowly in a pressure cooker, resulting in tender meat and a clear broth infused with a subtle ginseng aroma. The product undergoes a rapid freezing process at minus 35 degrees Celsius immediately after production to preserve the original texture of the ingredients and the freshness of the broth. The convenient single-pack format is another advantage. Without opening the package, simply heat it in a pot as is to easily enjoy a hearty health meal comparable to dining out.

‘Dr. You PRO Protein Drink Strawberry’ Contains Protein Equivalent to Four Eggs per Bottle

Orion has introduced the ‘Dr. You PRO Protein Drink Strawberry.’ Each 250ml bottle contains 24g of protein, equivalent to four eggs, while minimizing sugar content, making it a high-protein, low-sugar product. Based on the food R&D expertise of Orion’s Global Research Institute, the strawberry flavor is well captured to create a ‘delicious protein’ drink. It also contains 4,000mg of BCAA, 900mg of arginine, 300mg of L-carnitine, 19 types of amino acids, and 300mg of calcium, enhancing its nutritional value.

An Orion representative said, “With protein equivalent to four eggs and a well-executed strawberry flavor, consumers now have a wider choice of delicious high-protein drinks alongside existing chocolate and banana flavors. We plan to introduce various products tailored to preferences and consumption purposes amid the ongoing protein trend.”

BYC Introduces Mosimery Dress Ideal for Tropical Nights

BYC is launching the Mosimery dress, which offers excellent breathability and is perfect for tropical nights. The Mosimery dress is lightweight and softer than hemp fabric, making it ideal for wearing at home during summer. It dries quickly, preventing sweat accumulation and sticking to the skin, allowing for comfortable and cool wear. The dress features wide short sleeves and a knee-length cut for ease of wear.

As the weather heats up, BYC’s summer product sales have significantly increased. From the 8th to the 17th, sales of summer products such as Body Dry, Mosimery, and Coolpia rose by 63% compared to the previous week. A BYC representative explained, “Due to the ongoing heatwave, more consumers are seeking summer products.”

TAGA X Nest Hotel Launch ‘Gold Vacation’ Package

Vegan cosmetics brand ‘TAGA’ is launching the ‘Gold Vacation’ package in collaboration with Nest Hotel. The Gold Vacation package includes TAGA’s ‘Cica Soothing Gel Travel Kit,’ one night’s stay at Nest Hotel, breakfast for three (two adults and one child), three passes to the Infinity Pool ‘Strand,’ and a mesh shopper bag. This customized package is designed for families with children and is available from July 1 to August 31.

TAGA’s Cica Soothing Gel is made of 99% natural ingredients, including 90% centella asiatica extract, known for its skin-soothing effects. It also contains vitamin K, which helps reduce redness and revitalizes the skin, making it ideal for calming skin exposed to UV rays after water activities during a hotel stay. TAGA offers vegan cosmetics for infants and children in the domestic market and has received vegan certification in four countries, including Korea, the UK, Italy, and France.
