Dacor, which started in California, USA in 1948 and was acquired by Samsung Electronics in 2016, is a representative American luxury appliance brand that offers the best option for consumers who want a 'True Built-in' perfectly integrated with kitchen furniture.
Dacor has expanded its business mainly in the B2B market such as premium residential-commercial complex apartments and resorts in Korea. Representative examples include Nine One Hannam, Yongpyong Resort Apollis Condo, Seoul Forest Acro Forest, Raemian Leaders One, and Raemian One Bailey.
Building on its successful foothold in the B2B market, Samsung Electronics plans to expand brand exhibition spaces and focus on targeting the B2C market as well. The strategy is to strengthen the connection between Dacor and Samsung Electronics across all B2B and B2C business areas to further elevate the brand status. The built-in refrigerator is a representative product for targeting the premium B2C market.
