27 Companies Including Magok Tenants and Aviation Firms Participate
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) announced on the 19th that it will hold the '2024 Gangseo-gu Job Fair' together with companies located in Magok and aviation-related companies. This job fair will take place on the 26th of this month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Seoul Startup Hub M Plus.
A total of 27 companies, including those located in Magok and aviation-related firms, will participate in the fair to recruit about 230 employees. Job seekers can apply in advance through the Gangseo-gu Job Center or apply on-site to have interviews with their desired companies.
Companies will conduct on-site interviews with job seekers and, if they find outstanding talent they want, will proceed with on-site hiring. Major participating companies include four Magok-based companies: Advantech KR Co., Ltd., Hanmac Controls Co., Ltd., P&P Secure Co., Ltd., and S&I Corporation Co., Ltd., as well as five aviation-related companies: Estate Co., Ltd., Asiana Airport Co., Ltd., Co-Opsec Co., Ltd., Samgu I&C Co., Ltd., and Shinwoo Industrial Management Co., Ltd.
Members of the 'Gangseo Miracle Medi Special Zone' will also participate in this fair. The Korea Health Management Association, Wooridle Hospital, Boomin Hospital, and Mayfield Hotel will conduct recruitment interviews to hire personnel needed for dental hygienists, nursing staff, ward assistants, cooking and food & beverage, and facility maintenance.
Additionally, at 10 a.m., the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s Aviation Job Support Center will host the 'Korean Air X Youth Meet-Up (MEET-UP)'. Current airline employees will explain the ideal talent for companies and provide job information based on their experiences through a job talk show. This event will accept 150 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, and those interested must make a reservation in advance via the QR code in the announcement on the district’s website.
Furthermore, 12 related organizations will participate to offer various side events for job seekers, including free ID photo shoots for job seekers at the Gangseo 50 Plus Center and a free coffee truck operated by the Hankyung Association Mid-Aged Tomorrow Center. Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, “I hope this fair, which involves excellent companies, will help job seekers find good jobs,” and added, “We will continue to discover outstanding companies and implement job policies that connect residents to employment.”
