According to the latest chart released by Billboard on the 18th (local time) for the week of June 22, NewJeans' double single "How Sweet" and its title track "How Sweet" ranked 21st on the Global Excl. US chart and 28th on the Global 200 chart, respectively. The song entered the two charts at 7th and 15th place on June 8 and has continued to enjoy steady popularity.

The B-side track "Bubble Gum" placed 44th on the Global Excl. US chart and 77th on the Global 200 chart. By entering both global song charts, which are based on streaming and digital sales (downloads) across more than 200 regions worldwide, NewJeans has demonstrated their broad influence.

The group also maintained steady popularity on major domestic music charts. "How Sweet" ranked second for three consecutive weeks on the Melon, Genie, and Bugs weekly charts (tracking period June 10?16). "Bubble Gum" also held top positions, ranking third on Melon and fourth on Bugs, showing strong dual success.

NewJeans is scheduled to release their debut single "Supernatural" in Japan on the 21st. The pre-released B-side track "Right Now," unveiled on the 17th, received a warm response.

The music video, enhanced with animation elements that stimulate imagination, features not only the "Powerpuff Girls X NewJeans" characters introduced in their previous work but also characters created in collaboration with Japanese pop art master Murakami Takashi, maximizing audiovisual enjoyment.

The "Right Now" music video ranked high on YouTube’s trending videos in several countries and regions, including Korea (1st), Australia, Canada, the United States, Japan, France, and the United Kingdom.

With the release of their Japanese debut single, NewJeans will actively promote locally by appearing on major music programs. Starting on the 21st with morning broadcasts on Fuji TV’s "Mezamashi TV" and "Mezamashi 8," they will also perform on TV Asahi’s "Music Station" the same day, Nihon TV’s "with MUSIC" on the 22nd, TBS’s "CDTV Live! Live!" on the 24th, Fuji TV’s "FNS Music Festival" on July 3, and TBS’s "Music Day 2024" on July 13, showcasing their new songs on these stages.
