Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the School Manager Pilot School Business Agreement Ceremony held in the Mapo District Office's medium conference room on the morning of the 18th.
'School Manager' is a project in which the district supports staffing to open school sports facilities to residents on holidays when there are no classes and to manage the facilities. This allows schools to reduce safety burdens while residents can enjoy community sports at nearby schools, creating a win-win effect.
At the agreement ceremony, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Cho Hee-yeon, Superintendent of Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, and officials from the district office and education office attended to share the details of the School Manager project and sign the agreement.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, "It is very meaningful to sign the School Manager project agreement for the health of residents and the activation of community sports."
He continued, "Mapo District will actively cooperate with the policies promoted by the education office so that our students can grow up healthy and upright in an uncertain and rapidly changing future environment, and we ask for much interest and cooperation in Mapo District's educational projects."
