Support for Activity Expenses by Selecting Institutions, Organizations, and Clubs
Korea Rural Community Corporation will conduct the rural-tailored volunteer support project 'Nongchon Jaeneung Nanum' at the gymnasium in Ingye-myeon, Sunchang-gun, Jeonbuk from the 19th to the 21st.
'Nongchon Jaeneung Nanum' is a project that selects institutions, organizations, universities, and university student volunteer clubs that share talents such as professional knowledge, experience, and skills with rural villages, and supports their activity expenses. Currently, 23 organizations nationwide, 4 universities, and 30 university student volunteer clubs are active. This time, the Wonkwang Health University Social Service Group will participate in sharing activities for local residents, including physical therapy for muscle pain relief, magnifier production, denture care, and chronic disease education. Institutions such as Jeonbuk Nonghyup, Jeonbuk Culture and Tourism Foundation, Sunchang-gun Family Center, and Jeonbuk Volunteer Center will also participate.
Kim Young-bae, Director of the Rural Resource Development Institute at Korea Rural Community Corporation, said, "This activity, carried out through inter-institutional cooperation, is the first step toward providing more and diverse services to rural residents," adding, "We will continue to make various efforts to provide more services to rural residents in the future."
