Kiwoom Securities, ELS First Introduced in August 2010... Now Reached 3000 Issues Released

Kiwoom Securities announced on the 17th that it has launched its 3000th Equity-Linked Securities (ELS).

Among Kiwoom Securities' ELS, those with only numbers in the series are generally index-type ELS composed solely of global stock indices as underlying assets, or ELS that mix stock indices with domestic stocks. This week, series up to the 3012th have been launched. The "New Global 100 Trillion ELS," which uses global companies with a market capitalization exceeding 100 trillion won as underlying assets, has become Kiwoom Securities' flagship product since its first launch in 2019. This week, it has been issued up to the 1124th series.

Kiwoom Securities' 3000th ELS uses the KOSPI200 index, S&P 500 index, and EuroStoxx 50 index as underlying assets, has a 3-year maturity, and offers early redemption opportunities every 6 months. Upon meeting the conditions, it provides a maximum annual pre-tax return of 7.2% along with principal repayment. If the underlying asset price falls below 45% of the initial reference price, principal loss on the ELS may occur.

Kiwoom ELS and ELB can be conveniently subscribed online (via the website, HeroMoonS# app, HTS). General ELS and ELB can be subscribed through a stock account, but dollar ELS and dollar ELB must be subscribed through an account capable of overseas stock trading, and ISA-exclusive ELB can only be subscribed through a brokerage-type ISA account.

General investors (those subject to cooling-off) must subscribe to ELS by 5 PM on Monday, the 17th of this month, and confirm their intention to join by 1 PM on Thursday, June 20th. However, since ELB has no cooling-off period, subscription by 1 PM on Thursday, June 20th is sufficient.
